Get hands-on with AWS
Learning concepts is crucial. However, applying your new skills to build cloud solutions can help you be better prepared to enter the IT field as an AWS Cloud Consultant. You can get hands-on with AWS in many ways, such as using hosted lab environments or your own AWS account.
Build in your own personal AWS account
To build on AWS in your own personal AWS account, you can either create solutions on your own, or you can follow tutorials. However, be aware that you might incur costs when you build solutions in your own AWS account.
AWS offers the AWS Free Tier, but you should familiarize yourself with the rules of the AWS Free Tier before you build in your AWS account. Also, delete resources when you are done with them so that you can avoid incurring unnecessary charges.
The AWS Well-Architected Labs website also offers hands-on tutorials. This website offers a collection of workshops and hands-on labs to help you learn, measure, and build by using architectural best practices.
